The Fantastic Mr.Fox

Now anyone who knows me will know I'm positively gay for Wes Anderson films and that I believe Rushmore to be the greatest film ever made. Furthermore anyone who disagrees with this FACT is without any shadow of a doubt an ungainly insipid turd. Anyway Wes Anderson has just made a feature film of the wonderful Roald Dahl book 'The Fantastic Mr.Fox' and I've just unearthed (for unearthed read 'clicked on some webshite') some tasty preview images for your pleasure.

What's more I also managed to snaffle up Daniel Danger's marvelous 'Royal Tenenbaum's' print that sold out on the same day it was released so high fives all round. Well just for me really. If I can just get one of his Sonic Youth prints I'll be a very happy fella.

Boogle Tooth

Drawing Club this week was an all-dayer featuring much creativity - not all of it entirely healthy. Sometimes it's just better to not know.

Oh Boogle Tooth - how thee taunts and haunts my every passing day.

Art for Records

I draw this voodoo dolly in exchange for this. Fair exchange I reckon. Although maybe I should add I also paid a tenner... The things we people do for records eh?

Good work Johnny Trunk and thanks for all the wonderful reissues. We salute you sir.

Fabric Interview expanded!

The delightful folk at Fabric have been saying nice things about me again and I've been included on their blog and twittered apparently - if you missed it the first time around here's the article with added pictures.

I've got lots of illustration on the go at the moment including some work for dubstep record label 2nd Drop Records and I'm also doing some drafts of a comic strip for a fellow record nerd (all a bit hush hush for now) along with finishing various other personal projects, most significantly a final epic nautical screenprint. I wanted to knock all the sea nonsense on the head but I just can't seem to leave it alone - probably not helped by a smashing 24 hours in the coastal town of Southwold involving lots of sun, a tent, some beer and oooh at least an hours crabbing. And trying to bludgeon a fishes head from it's body with a rock specifically for crab-bait whilst massively hung-over on the side of a harbour wall at 10 o'clock in the morning.

Drawing Club

Following a couple of months of directionless wayward cocks and poo (and certainly not without their charms) it was decided a brief was needed to further the cause of what is Drawing Club. Much grumbling followed but the collective end result was aces... You too can enjoy and embrace Drawing Club - we're just not quite sure how as yet but the next few weeks are going to be mad silly exciting! Watch this space.
