Following a rather healthy endorsement of the 'My Home is the Sea' print series on OMG Posters they all sold out in a matter of 24 hours or so. So thanks to all those who purchased them and to Mitch at OMG Posters for the props. I'm sending the final batch out today - apologies for the slight delay it's been a hectic week.
Oh and if you thought the prints were a little on the cheap side spare a thought for the poor fella who went to the door of his flat to take the prints off the postie only to subsequently find he'd locked himself out. So thats £15 for the prints £2.50 for the postage and £64 for the locksmith. My fault as well apparently...

'My Home is the Sea' prints
The three part screen print series 'My Home is the Sea' is now available to buy in my shop for £15. Apologies for the delay - I've been breaking my liver in sunny Devon for the amazing Llama festival featuring Samandtheplants, Badly Drawn Boy, Andy Votel, David Holmes and some obligatory 'Jig-a-jig' Llama madness.
Oh and the first ten orders get a free Fisherman badge.

Lonely Monsters - Graham
This is Graham. He's a Pisces. He's one of life's dreamers - he enjoys free jazz, contemporary tap and scrabble. Graham is a complex individual - he has yet to grasp the significance of underwear which may or may not explain why he hasn't had relations in over seven years. It's making him a bit lecherous and creepy.

Beatles Rockband trailer
This isn't really in keeping with the ethos of this blog and I'll be the first to admit I listened to the Beatles far too much as a spotty teen but this trailer is just fantastic. The animation is stunning and retains a feel of the original Alan Aldridge psychedelic artwork without making my eyes bleed with horrible CGI over-kill. Just wow.

Russ Mills exhibition
Way back in the annals of this esteemed blog I unashamedly bragged about grabbing two Russ Mills prints which sold out in a matter of hours - boo hoo for you! However now is not the time to weep into your weetabix for he has his first ever exhibition and it's already started! I popped along last night and was struck at the acesomeness of his work. Then slightly disappointed to find on closer inspection it's all digitally rendered and printed onto canvas. Had I given it some proper thought I would've realised such erratic paint throwing in such a controlled manner would be virtually impossible straight onto canvas but hey. His work is fantastic all the same and I encourage everyone to go and see it for themselves. It's at the Signal Gallery for the next couple of weeks. Good luck fighting your way through the seemingly endless throng of stupidly dressed, stupidly rich, stupidly faced fucktards with stupid fucking haircuts that infect the surrounding streets. A virus with shoes. Stupid coloured ones at that. I'd dearly like nothing more than to punch each and everyone of them in the throat for the rest of my days but there's more important things in life. I can't actually think of any at the moment but I digress.

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest lp
Well I never thought I'd live to see the day but Warp have finally signed an indie rock band that aren't totally shit. Much as I love Warp dearly it's about time. To be fair they kind of cheated in that Grizzly Bear already done released a great lp ('Yellow House') but 'Veckatimest' is even better still. I'm rubbish at describing music I actually enjoy and like the man said “talking about music is like dancing about architecture” so I'm done but 'Veckatimest' is a fantastic record.
